Passwords . . . Yep, we’re going to look at them again. With the recent large data breach, it bears repeating . . . you have to update your passwords and set up 2-Step Authentication.
Thankfully, websites are making it easier to set up 2-Step Authentication (that extra little step of receiving a code by email or text). If you have the option, you should always turn on 2-Step Authentication.
If you haven’t changed your passwords recently, consider this your reminder.
Create a unique password for each app, website, etc. (don’t reuse)
Passwords should be randomly generated. Use a generator like Norton’s Password Generator (https://my.norton.com/extspa/passwordmanager?path=pwd-gen)
If random isn’t going to work for you, at least consider using a sentence instead of a word for your password.
