Not all updates a great improvements. In my opinion, Facebook’s addition of “chirping” while scrolling on iPhones falls into this category. If the new feature is bothering you too, you can turn it off:
Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner to open the menu.
Scroll down and tap on “Settings & Privacy.”
Select “Settings.”
Scroll down and find “Media.”
Under “Sounds,” toggle off the switch next to “In-App Sounds.”
Scroll is blissful silence.
