Drag & Drop Your Way to a Smarter Outlook Workflow

Want to turn an email into something you’ll actually act on? Outlook makes it ridiculously easy. Just drag and drop any message onto the Calendar icon to create an event, or onto the To Do icon to turn it into a task.

Give it a try:

  1. Open Outlook and go to your Inbox.

  2. Click and hold the email you want to schedule.

  3. Drag it to the Calendar (or ToDo) icon in the left navigation pane.

  4. Release your mouse

  5. Outlook opens a new event window with the email attached.

  6. Add the date, time, and any details you want.

  7. Click Save
