There is a setting that you may want to turn off in Gmail. It is a relatively new setting.
This setting allows Google to use your data to train their AI models. If you want to turn it off, here are the steps:
- Open Gmail and click the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
- Click See all settings.
- Go to the General tab.
- Scroll down and turn off the following by selecting the “Off” option:
- Smart Compose
- Smart Compose personalization
- Nudges
- Smart Reply
- Click the Inbox tab.
- Under Importance markers, select No Markers.
- Choose Don’t use my past actions to predict which messages are important.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
