The bad actors have stepped up their game, so you have to step up yours. Here are a few ways to help protect yourself.
Don’t click links in unsolicited emails
Make sure you have anti-virus installed and updated
Think — does the email make sense or does something seem off?
If you are questioning the email, copy/paste the text into a search and check the results to see if the email is a scam.
