If the paper is a bit too long for you to read (Yeah, I didn’t read through all of it either), take a look at these key ways to spot fake images:
Zoom in on the image and look at the face, fingers, and small details
Look at the shadows
Look at reflections in mirrors, windows, and glasses
Most importantly, think about the image. Does it make sense or is there something “off” about it. Your subconscious mind will often let you know something isn’t right even if your conscience mind can’t put it into words.
These same clues will help you find deepfake videos too.
Remember: You can no longer believe what you see. You have to question it.
