Continuing on last week’s article about spotting AI, take a look at this “not publicly available” product that Microsoft has unveiled — VASA-1. Scroll through the article and click some of the videos.
Understand that what you are watching are videos created from a single picture and an audio file. None of the people in these videos are actually saying what the video shows them saying. Can you tell these videos are fake? My guess is that you can’t. That’s the controversy surrounding VASA-1.
! Do not give personal/confidential/sensitive information to any AI. Think twice before giving AI a pictures of yourself; once you do, AI can use your likeness for other images.
