A lot of years ago, more than 25 of them, I was in a unique situation. I had one-year old twins that had special needs and I had a full-time job. Due to the twins’ special needs, they required a lot of attention. That meant I was away from my job more than I was there. It wasn’t fair to my employer, so I resigned. Figuring it was going to be easy to raise the twins and work from home, I started a Virtual Assistant company. (Side note: It wasn’t easy.) At the time, I was told that working from home via the internet was never going to work and that the idea of freelance administrative work would never be accepted (remember . . . over two decades ago). They were wrong. In 1998, I launched VOAssistant and have continued to help clients run their businesses ever since.

So, why am I giving you this background? Because everyone has a story. My story is long and boring. But by living my story, I have learned a lot about working from home, balancing work and family, putting pieces of technology together so they get the job done, and most importantly, I’ve learned that you can never stop learning.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with many different people with many different business models and I’ve learned from each and every one of them. Now, it’s my turn to help you learn from my experiences.

As a Coach, I want to help you learn how to calm the chaos that sometimes happens when you work from home. By working smarter, hiring help when you need it, and taking time for yourself, we can make a plan that will work for you.

As a Web Developer, I can handle the maintenance, updating, and designing of your website. My knowledge about websites and how to take care of them comes from years of education both inside and outside the classroom.

As a VA and Online Business Manager, I have over 25 years of experience working with many different types of clients. Over the years there have been many courses and certifications that have taught me some of the best ways to work and manage a business efficiently.
